Tehran, IRNA – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC)’s punitive operation against the Israeli regime humiliated the occupying entity and its supporters, says a senior lawmaker at Iran’s Majlis (Parliament).
Mojtaba Zonnouri, the vice-speaker of Majlis, made the remark at a parliament session in Tehran on Monday morning.
The victory of the brave IRGC men was a cause of pride for the people as it humiliated the Israeli regime, Zonnouri added.
The lawmaker further appreciated the people for holding rallies in different parts of the country to support the operation.
The IRGC fired dozens of drones and missiles toward the positions of the Zionist regime in the occupied Palestinian territories on Saturday night in response to the regime’s attack against the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria, two weeks earlier.
